How-do-you-do I accept the kworld Video Editing DVD Maker 2 which appears to exist only compatible with a PC.

Thanks Dave - yes trying to import some VHS tapes. I suspected that might be the case. I have seen Elgato merely was hoping to detect a workaround using the kworld cable, before I accept to buy something new.
I would have thought (and was hoping) that the kworld cable and elgato cablevision are the aforementioned, it'due south just a matter of finding software that is compatible with mac/pc.

It comes with its' own capture software that was updated a while back to be 64-bit and is thus compatible with Mac OS ten.fifteen Catalina; the files can then be imported into iMovie or whatsoever video editor you use. Roxio as well makes a similar USB video capture device, but its' software is withal 32-bit but; otherwise it works pretty well, too.
